Online is not always better. Many people appreciate traditional notebooks – for recording ideas, drawing, organizing everyday life or as an annual calendar. Our leather cover gives any notebook an elegant and sturdy suit.
The cover is made of vegetable tanned cowhide from Italy. It is hand-dyed and polished with beeswax. The stitching is genuine saddler stitching where each stitch forms a loop inside the material. This results in the greatest durability and a beautiful appearance. The cover is specially made for Moleskine brand notebooks. The leather is open pored and develops a beautiful patina. As paper is a slightly abrasive material, slight staining may occur on the first and last sheet.
These covers can be refilled again and again over decades (first slide the notebook cover – with patience – into the wider pocket, then into the narrower one). You can buy the cover here with or without Moleskine (blank). The price difference is the normal retail price of Moleskine books in Germany.

Bespoke service
You have a favorite notebook and want a custom-made cover? No problem. Simply add a copy of the "Bespoke" variant to your shopping cart and specify the exact dimensions of your notebook (length, width, height in centimeters or inches) during checkout. Brand and model name is also helpful. The case will then take these measurements into account plus a few millimeters of air on all sides. Please note that notebooks with very hard covers cannot be put into leather cases.
Features and workmanship are identical to our standard cases. The price refers to notebooks with a maximum height of 26 cm and a maximum width of 20. For larger books, please send the measurements by e-mail to info@casebackwatches.com. You will then receive a quote that takes into account the higher material consumption. The production takes about two weeks. Please note that custom made cases can be returned only in case of defect or measurement error.
